The Honorable Elzie Odom Leader of Tomorrow $3,000 Scholarship was established to honor youth as a legacy to his service.
It is given to an African American male high school senior attending school in Tarrant County. This scholarship may be used at any two-year or four-year college or university.

Kennedy Battles was the recipient of the 2023 Miss Debutante 1st Place Scholarship Award in the amount of $8,000. The members of The Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education congratulate her on her hard work and academic achievements thus far.
With this scholarship award, the AFEE supports her continued commitment to academic excellence as she begins her college studies.
