2014 DEBUTANTE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The purpose of the Debutante Scholarship Program is to provide scholarships to eligible young ladies. The program is also designed to develop leadership skills, encourage unity, and promote community service and academic excellence in young women through mentorship and life skills training. The process offers a wide range of social, personal, career and educational enrichment opportunities for high school seniors. Activities consist of workshops, community service, etiquette training and more! Selected participants learn to successfully transition into the next stage of their high school and college career before taking their bow and being presented to society at the Ball.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

· Debutante Handbook
· Workshop Presenters
· Breakfast and/or Lunch during Workshops
· Workshop Materials and Equipment
· Debutante Stylist
· Debutante Souvenir Poster
· Friday night hotel accommodation.
· Four tickets to the Debutante Ball
o Mother, Father, Debutante and Escort
All young women accepted into the program are required to participate in the workshops, service projects and the presentation ball.
Workshops will be held twice a month on Saturday mornings (June - October) and Ball practices on Wednesdays in October. Activities will begin in June and culminate with the Presentation Ball in November.
Special Debutante Awards
PERFECT ATTENDANCE AWARD
Each Debutante who attends all of the seminars, meetings, and practices will receive special recognition.
HIGHEST GPA AWARD
The Debutante with the highest overall cumulative GPA for the six-week period ending immediately preceding the ball will receive special recognition.
TOP FUNDRAISER AWARD
The Debutante with the top fundraiser throughout the competition. This Debutante will receive special recognition the night of the ball.
COMMUNITY LEADER OF SERVICE AWARD
The Debutante who volunteers the most community service hours throughout the competition. This Debutante will receive special recognition the night of the ball.
The Debutante voted by her peers as most congenial will be presented with a trophy.
BEST SCRAPBOOK AWARD
The Debutante with the best scrapbook that covers the events of the Debutante process will receive special recognition.
