SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
This scholarship may be used at any four-year Historically Black College or University (Trade, Technical and Cosmetology Schools are ineligible.)Â Â Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the student.Â
DEADLINE:Â Completed application and all supporting materials are due by 11:59pm on Saturday, October 10, 2025.

Two letters of recommendation

Submission Requirements - Before you begin the application have the following items available to upload:
Two letters of recommendation from anyone (not related to you) who can speak to your college readiness, leadership ability within a club, organization, UIL group, or involvement with a community service project.
Original Essay
Topic: "The Importance of HBCUs in the 21st century and why I chose to attend one."
Rules:Â The essay must be written in your voice. The use of AI or ChatGPT is strictly forbidden. Essays utilizing this format/software will be disqualified.
